How does it work?
We make it easy.
Once you have registered with our service and logged in with your User ID and Password, you will
be guided by simple menus that enable you to begin setting up your inventory filing system
right away.
The filing system itself consists of folders for basic categories: General, Insurance, Vehicles, etc.
When you register, we set up some initial folders for you. You can add and delete folders, you can
change the name of any of your folders, and you can store other folders within a top-level folder.
Once you have set up your desired categories, you can then organize your filing system to suit your
own specific needs, for instance:
Creating your own top-level folders
(e.g., 'Den', 'Master Bedroom', 'Study');
Creating new folders for items particular
to your household (e.g., 'Baseball Card Collection');
Creating sub-categories within
top-level categories (e.g., your 'Vehicles' folder might contain
sub-folders for 'Cars', 'Trucks', 'Boats',
and 'Motorcycles'.)
We've made every effort to make our system easy and painless. You can choose to create your
eFamilyVault in an afternoon, break it up into smaller sessions, or simply work on it from
time to time as your schedule permits.
It's as simple as that!
We also ensure that our system is completely private and secure. This is not a public
site, with your photos displayed in an online internet gallery. All information that
could identify you or your home is encrypted, so even for someone with direct access
to our servers, your information is unreadable by anyone but you!
